The holidays are coming! As we move into the festive winter seasons, we’ve made a few updates in the regions to add a little sparkle and cheer!

New roads to the Hot Springs!

The Hot Springs now open up to the main street in the Village. With intimate hot pools and a fire pit for getting cosy, there’s also a new walkway to the lakeside cabins for those wanting somewhere scenic and casual to lay these holidays.

New Venues!

The supermarket is back, along with a new tattoo studio, the Pounders Burger Bar and Jaisun and Kere’s Antiques. If you haven’t checked out the bookstore, gallery, spa or dungeon yet, time to get exploring! Click here for all the LMs!

Gacha Reslaes

in the Antiques barn, we’re flogging off our surplus gachas including some unique holiday trinkets. Looking for a tree or something to hang on it, we’ve got you covered.

Season Changes

The Christmas decorations are up. Get your snow roofs ready for December 1 as the temperatures are set to drop then. Oost will be in snow from December 1 but remember, you don’t have to dress for it (or at all!). We don’t feel the chill at Oost!

Along with the seasons change is a new seasonal garden in the Oost West region which will change with the seasons. Currently it’s a Christmas Tree farm, and when the snow hits, will become an ice-skating rink.

New pricing

We know that times are tough at the moment, and because of that, the escapism that SL provides us is as important as it ever have been. Oost is a safe space for gay men in a world that seems increasingly less tolerant at times. If you need a haven to be yourself, and somewhere that kindness, truth and good neighbors are valued, we have cabins and parcels available.

From 18 November we’re implementing new pricing to ease the pressure on those looking for an escape. From fully-furnished homes to cozy cabins on the water, we have a range to suit all tastes and budgets. If you’re an existing resident, your time remaining will be adjusted to reflect the lower rates, so you’ll get some extra days!

Events

We’re planning a range of activities for the coming months, from hunts, to games nights, adult parties and BARE combat tournaments. Keep up to speed via our inworld group or join us on discord. We’re usually quiet but looking to change that.
